So there's this art project on kickstarter.com that I decided to back because one: it has many amazing artists featured; and two: the bonuses are actually pretty cool.  It includes loads of stuff like tutorials on paper and digital; there's prints; and a nice presentation box to keep the book in.  More info could be found at www.kickstarter.com/projects/1…

There's only 11 more days left and they've only reached a little over 50% of their goal; but if you could help them back the project even if it's not much, that'd be totally cool!

I'm so freakin excited!  Now I can finally look forward to the weekend besides homework!  Not to mention, LoK is on Fridays too!  This semester's great!

So I've decided to start painting again and I just love the "redraw" meme to see how much I've improved.  Honestly, I've not painted anything suitable since I graduated high school which was five years ago.  

Since I mostly do traditional media and use an impressionistic style, it was a little hard not to go all out on a portrait style drawing I did when I was like fourteen! I had to be more mindful since I was actually painting skin!  

Anyways, I'm almost done with it and will be posting it soon.  So you'll get to see how much I actually improved over the years from the lack of active artistic creativity.

To be truthful, I think it looks pretty darn good for not doing anything for FIVE YEARS! Haha

So I write fanfiction for SasuSaku. Currently, the fic I am writing is a horror genre.  It's the first time in a long time since I've enjoyed writing again because I have depression (it makes no sense as to why I'm writing horror, but I love it).  

The fic I'm working on I spent time writing carefully because I didn't want to screw it up again and not finish.

All of the reviews I received so far were generally positive and helped motivated me greatly that I was able to update faster than I normally do.  So I posted my new chapter this morning around one-ish, feeling good about it since I managed to squeeze one out before the semester started.

Then I look at my email to see a new review thinking it was good.  So here it is in its entirety:

I was freakin livid.  The whole entire damn review just slammed me on how bad my grammar was and how it bugged the shit out of this anonymous guest.  And to say that I need to edit more-I fucking edit my chapters AT LEAST FOUR TIMES!

I really hate it when all you can say in a review is that something sucked or it wasn't good or this doesn't make sense.  

Like deviant art, I believe fanfiction is a place where you can get away from the real world--not be graded on how good your art is or how stupid your paper sounds by a fuckin professor.  

We don't need those kinds of people bringing us down when all we're trying to do is share something that we like with you.
